How Resume Builder handles the information you give us.

Draft for review

This placeholder summarizes the intended data handling from the product plan. It must be reviewed and completed before the public beta.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and sign-in information.
The resume content you enter, saved to your account.
Usage counts (AI actions, PDF exports) and subscription status.

Guest drafts

Before you sign in, your draft is stored only in this browser on your device. It is copied to your account once, after you sign in, and then removed from the device.

AI writing help

When you use AI features, the relevant parts of your resume — never your contact details — are sent to our AI provider to generate suggestions. Pasted job descriptions are used for that request only and are never stored. A validated result may be kept, encrypted, for up to 15 minutes so an interrupted request can be recovered.

Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual resumes or your whole account at any time. Account deletion removes your resumes, generated PDFs and usage data, and cancels any subscription.
